Comb-shaped microorganism in lake water?

I was just looking through a microscope at a water sample from a local lake and I found a very interesting looking organism. It looked like a double-sided comb, with very fine and regular parallel spines extending in both directions from a central axis. I couldnt find the right keywords for a search in google images; anyone have a suggestion what it might be?
