that was harry's patronus (a patronus is produced when one uses the expecto patronum charm... the charm makes dementors go away.) everyone's patronus takes the form of a certain animal and harry's is a stag. harry and hermione used the time turner to go back in time to save buckbeak, harry, and sirius. so.. harry saved himself.
