Although there is limited problems with our beef supply, on the most part it's high quality. The hle with grinding your own and subsequent cleanup (necessary to avoid the same problems you are trying to avoid) makes me prefer to just purchase it ground. Proper preparation greatly reduces risks of illness and bulk amounts can be purchased and frozen at times meat is at a lower price. Dating items in freezer and managing stock is easier than grinding own.
